Read how shook he had that nikka in wolverine origins volume 3.

:francis: This the type of stuff people mean when they done messed up the character. Cyclops done gone up against Magneto, the Brotherhood, Sentinels, racist humans, done literally fell out a plane and survived as a kid, but he supposed to be shook of some 5 ft Canadian with butter knives coming out his hands. Got popular in the 90's now people writing shyt that don't make any kind of sense. Got him coming back from a single cell. Had Jean literally on his dikk in Ultimate X-Men. He leading teams now. Literally towering over people on cartoons. I'm waiting to hear that they had him fold up Galactus or Thanos on dolo at this point.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
Wolverine and Sabertooth have some of the best fights in comics and maybe the best rivalry .

Hmm spin thread incoming.
Please do. I was gon do it but i thought too soon.

Sabretooth one of my fav characters all time. The cartoon wad super dope. Im watching some now. The way they did the the wolverine arc in dark pheonix was perfect. Straight from the books almost.

Butter knives? Dont insukt the man. Theres like 3 characters in marvel that can throw hands with wolverine as hes ranked as one of the best fighters (straight from their own encyclopedia books which i bought as a youngin).

Best fighter in the continuity with razor sharp knives coning out his hands... Who wouodnt be shook.

Scott cool but the xmen is a revolving door of charavters who all share leading roles. Wolverine IS the supporting actor who gets the emmy tho.. Everytime. Yea the 2000-2010 writing of him is shoddy at best but hes still one of the most relatable characters.

The wolverine/cyke arc is one of the best in marvel. Which team mates had more beef?

Blame Marvel, b. Logan been killing for at least 90 years you telling me he can't fold up string bean? This nikka went toe to toe with Cap. what kinda sense does it make for Logan to lose to Scott in a fist fight . He's been trained by damn near every master in the Marvel U.

On top of training, those adamantium punches and kicks are putting normal people in comas. One good punch from Logan should be night night for people that don't have super strength or some sort of defense. It's kinda funny how many writers forget that Logan would be killing dudes even if he never pops a claw.

He would though. :jawalrus:

People bypassing them pics of they man getting backhanded, slammed, flipped, head getting mushed into in the ground, chest and back getting caved in while Cyke talking funky too him. No wonder he couldn't simp and dirty mack Jean away, she knew who the alpha male was between them two.

Note that most of those scans in my original post are from the classic era before these comics became struggle Watchmen.
Before the stans got old enough to put their favorite characters on a pedestal when they got into the business (Wolverine, Batman :snoop: )

Before every character had to have had a whole museum's worth full of skeletons in their closets all along for the sake of being "deep". (Professor X :snoop: )

Back when it was cool to have heroes with actual virtues, before dudes got straight character-assassinated just for the sake of having another book on the market. (Cyclops :snoop: )
(Note: The whole anti-hero angle is dope for certain characters, but not EVERYBODY needs to be that.)

Before virtually every major character died and come back to life at least once (I give DBZ props and that's where it stops :stopitslime: ).

When heroes spent less time fighting each other and more time fighting actual villains. ( :why: )

But people want to act like this new-millenium fanfiction is a more valid source than the guys who wrote stuff like this...

Speaking of Watchmen, that series in and of itself was, and will ALWAYS be a stone cold classic--but I'm not a fan of the effect it had on the industry.

I agree with all you are saying, but I will add Watchmen and DKR and hero deconstruction had nothing but negative effect on the industry and i'll say watchman and Moore in particular and his spiritual successor Millar write shytty stories, watchman had a cool concept the execution and characters in the comic were terrible. imho

Nah, co-sign. I agree with you, Watchmen and the DKR were great stories, but they also lowkey screwed up the industry. The characters in Watchmen aren't even really heroes for the most part--they're just messed up people in costumes. Rorschach is super interesting to read about, but the idea of somebody actually trying to be like that guy :merchant:
