Im just gonna assume Vera is a quarter black on his mama side or something. Anyway. Vera has been an unfinished subplot since season 1. Yall do remember Vera killed Elliots girl. That alone is reason enough for a final season subplt arc on the way through the main arc. Im hyped for it. Leon is going to come in to play too. Its going to be ill.

Anakin Elliot has gone full Darth Vader on us. This guy admittedly dosent give a shyt about anyone or anything except Darlene and The Mission at hand, I almost died of laughter when he was chastising her for working for the Deus group. I swear he really didnt care if she lived or died.

They better NOT twist it back and make White Rose some kind of Anti hero. I can already see them blurring the lines.

Janice and her menacing calmness is just an awesome character but I already seen Cannavale last season so its not totally new. Im not a fan of Dom anymore, would have maybe preferred more Wellick and less of her instead in the end looking back.

Show is dope.

Random notes, this show does have flaws. Usually its Vera but in this episode I think he was acting like a typical maniac villain. That actor needs more work. Also remember Elliott needs muscle and Vera rant involved building Elliott up. Maybe he can help with WR in some twisted way. Which brings me to my next point.

I'm not a fan of that actor at all. There's zero subtlety to his performance. He's angry, almost crying, and just all over the place emotionally. The way he delivers his lines bothers me. I'm cringing every line of the little bytch story:hhh:

My question is for the dark army. I usually love dystopian environments and villains. But the dark army is OP. How tf does WR gets so many Chinese nationals in the US? Are they all just sitting in some big warehouse with leather jackets on waiting to get called? Where did WR find goons like Janice and Irving? How do you get down with the dark army? Do they pay well?

Do i really want to work for some obsessed mass murdering plotting and scheming #teampetty trans megaboss who can get triggered by just saying the word patience :russ:

I doubt it'll ever be explained but I'm assuming all the Chinese goons are from overseas and are the die hard, kill yourself for the cause types.

The random ones like Leon, Irving and Janice are probably just hired goons. They don't strike me as the "I don't care if I die" sort like the foot soldiers.

I'm guessing they found them on the dark web.

Did any one catch the season 1 easter egg?

The coffee shop where Elliot met Leon is the one Elliot exposed in the first scene in season 1. When dude was a pedophile.

Even Leon said :jbhmm: "now why does this place look familiar?"

Honestly, I think that was more about probably having writers who don't know real 'urban speak' rather than the acting. At least when it came to the Lil' bytch story.

As far as Vera I can't say the actor is bad because whatever he did got OK'ed by Esmail who is the director.

So if he's a one note caricature of a drug dealer....Esmail signed off on the performance. :manny:

I'm not a big fan of the character though. He works much better in small doses. Season 1 he was dope, his scene from earlier this season was dope....this ep was border line too much Vera, though.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
As one of yall nikkas said, Janice is a fun character :lolbron:, her subtleness about murdering Dom whole family is just :picard:, she'd probably call before, during, and after the murders with nice and polite ass commentary about straight savagery

"hello Dom, Bob just slit your mother's throat and boy was she not ready, body was twitching and jumping around for a whole darn minute"

I meant to say this earlier but Dom should've clapped Janice and her goons. She has nothing to lose at this point. They already told her that her family is dead if Darlene is still alive, the only other option at that point is to kill Janice, run, and hope whatever plan Darlene is talking about works.
