My bad. Should've clarified. I was reading the the threads on Reddit for the post-episode discussion and the preview for next week's "commercial free episode" and a lot of posts seemed to be indicating that the majority of the episode might take place in the therapist's office.

It could also be an echo-chamber situation where a couple people say something, it gets a lot of upvotes, and then everyone assumes they're correct and goes around repeating it (which is, I guess, what I ended up doing)

The best thing about this show (and the best thing about the very best TV) is that you can’t predict what gonna happen.

You can barely predict where a scene is going, and you damn sure don’t know what’s gonna happen, or what needs to happen in the next episode.

When TV is written well, you just gotta go along for the ride. 98% of TV is predictable. Characters get backed into a corner and if you know the basics of TV you know there’s only 1 or 2 ways out of it. Even shyt that is considered prestige or Golden Era TV is just shined up versions of predictable plots. Not this.

With this show (and other truly great shows) you never know.

Darlene could have pulled that trigger and it would have made sense. Fat lady could have come in, seen that scene, seen the phone get wiped and killed Dom and it would have made sense.

Now we just gotta wait a week.

Glad Leon’s back. And he’s “Freelance” now. If Elliot can make a call, he’s got a shooter on deck.

The only thing I’m kinda worried about is Vera.

I agree with some of you guys - he is a distraction. A good one. The performance is good and he doesn’t bring the quality of the show down at all, but he does feel like a wheel spinner.

I just hope somehow he’s gonna play into the larger plot, and not just be a mini-boss that Elliot needs to deal with to fill time in a 13 episode season.

That’s something a “lesser” show would do.

Random notes, this show does have flaws. Usually its Vera but in this episode I think he was acting like a typical maniac villain. That actor needs more work. Also remember Elliott needs muscle and Vera rant involved building Elliott up. Maybe he can help with WR in some twisted way. Which brings me to my next point.


My question is for the dark army. I usually love dystopian environments and villains. But the dark army is OP. How tf does WR gets so many Chinese nationals in the US? Are they all just sitting in some big warehouse with leather jackets on waiting to get called? Where did WR find goons like Janice and Irving? How do you get down with the dark army? Do they pay well?
