This universe is not one where shyt just disappears. Dude didn't just kill Elliott's girl for no reason.. He told Elliott to back off and in turn, he got Vera locked the fukk up.. Imagine you get a heroin dealer/user locked the fukk up.. Now he's gotta do something crazy to get you to get him out.. While also having to kill his own brother, because you exposed his plans too.
