Craig Robinson Joins ‘Mr. Robot’ Season 2

Craig Robinson will join the cast of “
Mr. Robot” for the show’s second season, as a recurring guest star,
Variety has learned.
The comedian will play Ray, a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot (Rami Malek) in his time of need.

Chris Conroy, plus new series regular
Grace Gummer. Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen have been upped to series regulars for the second season, and will reprise their roles as Phillip Price and Joanna Wellick, respectively.
Robinson starred on “The Office,” and last summer, toplined his own NBC sitcom “Mr. Robinson,” which was cancelled after one short season. His other recent credits include “This Is the End,” “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Hot Tub Time Machine 2.”
Production on the second season of “Mr. Robot” begins today in New York City, and the new episodes will debut this summer.
