I wasn’t gonna say nothing but facts. They was doing broadway episodes and going on side missions and shyt. All for the machine to be just a dream and white rose killing himself for no reason.

I said it then and people killed me. Nobody talks about this show anymore. It’s game of thrones status. One of the most amazing shows up until that last season
This, like many shows of that era, became more enamored with listening to fan feedback rather than just telling the fukking story. Andy Greenwald has blood on his hands, lol

It's embarrassing how the neutered the dark army and white rose in that last season just to give some kind of happy ending to the main characters.

fukk that.

They wrote themselves into a corner and decided to pander to fans instead.

Just like breaking bad. Man pondered so hard with the ending he needed to double down and pander with a sequel movie :mjlol:

Never watched it. Should I?

Fred.
Eh. It's a solid watch, some good performances but didn't have that :whoo:the first season of Homecoming had.

How is it GOT status? Thrones is arguably one of the most popular tv shows of all time, a pop culture phenomenon.

As great as the show was, how much critical love it got, it was never a big audience grabber.

First season only averaged 1.39M viewers and declined every year, with the last season only averaging 0.38M viewers.

No one outside of critics and deep tv watchers were talking about it anyway.

GOT was called the best show in the history of tv, UNTIL that last season. Now nobody talks about it.

Look at a top TV show list of all time, in 2023, and you’ll notice neither one of these are at the top anymore. Why you think HOD took so long and even then had people like “meeeh”. Cause the GOT bad taste was still there. Same as this show. That silly ass season, dude selling books, Joey Badass side mission, it was all a dream, what was the point…

shyt was trash

Cap, The Americans was more of a consensus critical favorite at that point. Mr. Robot after the first season was too niche to be considered the best ever

Yea shyt underrated
I could go into a random room, start talking about GOT and more than half the room would jump in. Even cats that didn't watch it, knew about it.

I've got friends that are really into tv shows that never watched an episode of Mr. Robot.

I personally did not like the last episode. But this show has way too many favorite moments in TV history ever. A really bold, ambitious release. I respect Sam for this and will always check out his work.

"Atlanta" and "BCS" ended now too, they gotta fit in a top list somewhere.

Side note, if you all didn't watch "Homecoming" season 1, Sam Esmail directed every episode and it was amazing.

He's currently working on a miniseries based on the the 1927 sci-fi film "Metropolis". :wow:
