i used to work at the movies around the time Hangover came out and that shyt had a crazy wave for a minute entire theaters laughin they asses off

then it came out on DVD and we all copped to watch at home and ended up like

same thing with Paranormal Activity 1, shyt was a problem in theaters but borderline trash outside of that setting

I wouldn’t say it’s only good this way, but the paranormal activity movies are all better in theaters. Movies by their nature are supposed to be communal experiences. Horror especially. It’s like going through a haunted house. And going through a haunted house by yourself is just silly
