Harlem Nights is cool, but for that cast it needed to be way funnier. I admit I was disappointed.

Friday has an 80% RT I think.Even "Friday" got like 1, 1.5 stars from them...
This is about movies that got low ratings upon release. Boomerang got shytted on by critics when it released. There was one review on the LA Times I believe that said the movie wasn’t realistic because there were only Black people working at the company

A lot albeit some of the movies I like that get panned are indeed bad but hold a special place for nostalgic reasons (Space Jam). Horror and Comedy are really subjective the type of horror movies that go over with critics tend to bore me to death same with the comedy movies they like, I tend to watch younger movie critics on youtube words older critics use like derivative are words you'll see in a lot of negative reviews of Robin Williams movies notably Hook which is considered a classic.
