Exactly what I was thinking. I was hoping they'd make a doom movie of similar quality
I always said that The Other Guys should have had both a prequel with Sam Jackson and The Rock's characters and a sequel with Marky Mark and Will Ferrell's characters

I was surprised to see this mentioned. I looked it up, and it looks like The Other Guys performed better than most Will Ferrell movies and it was considered a bit of a comeback after "Land of the Lost" flopped:

shyt Tom Hardy was an animal in this...this was a dope movie...I dont even remember this movie getting a full theatrical run. I went and saw because of word of mouth
