The Bay Area
evolution. it was literally the 2000s ghostbusters. all the characters had god chemistry too. but what i think sunk it was that there was nothing toyetic in it. not a crazy car, no special weapons, nothing
This movie is really underrated you have a great point about merchandising maybe if they had made that smiley with the three eyes more prevelant in branding.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World I think it's a hit but I just know it flopped
I’m so glad I watched this in theaters.

Gotta agree that the marketing for this stunk. Think I only recall [AS] hyping it up along with the animated short by Titmouse. Besides that and the game that dropped on consoles, it was whatever as far as exposure went....which is a damn shame. Movie is a classic and has only gotten more popular as years have gone by.

Bladerunner2049 but I guess it's for the best
I’m feeling better about Dune’s chances to shine. From the way they basically had a cast panel prior to the trailer reveal, you can tell WB is throwing all of their marbles into this one so I’m positive the marketing will be done right. Stacked cast, more action, more than likely PG-13, majority of teenaged girls adore Chalamet, and Zendaya has a large fan following as well.

BR 2049 being a poorly marketed neo-noir just didn’t bode well. :mjcry:
