Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
$150 for a set top box and $50 bucks for only 2 days? :childplease:

Netflix + theater would be better, if they could ever come to an agreement with that.
cause you not a hustler

better believe batman vs superman would be on my 60 inch 3d tv for $5 a head all weekend long

and don't let me find a way to record that shyt in hd :blessed:

People will find a way to rip and leak the movies, causing piracy to spike even higher and kill theater attendance all but completely. Sounds like a smart plan.:troll:

Also, I pay 26 bucks a month for unlimited access to the biggest theater chain in the Netherlands and 19 bucks a month for unlimited access to arthouse theaters so for 45 bucks a month I can already watch any movie I want in each of my city's four theaters and nothing will ever beat the theater experience.

I don't know if I'm over thinking it or actually being ridiculous but I feel like people are willing to spend money to go to the theaters even with piracy. It's just pockets are hurting.

As much as I love my 60" Ultra HD TV, I love the whole movie theater going experience too much to want to see it die which is what this idea (and any idea of same day home release of new movies) would ultimately end up doing.

It worries me that Spielberg and abrams and other big names are backing this.

fakkit ass new generation doesn't go to the theaters because they wanna be on their phones.

Sickens me.

The movie theater is sacred to me.

i like this idea.
man, itd be better if it was like netflix tho.

pay like, 30 bucks a month to have all the new movies on demand, and when they hit blu ray - it goes away.
