We are men,unless we super green or not street wise at all,we know even minor transgressions against other men could mean death,I don't think the father would have done no dumb shyt like that,the fact of the matter is women operate under notion that most things aren't as serious as they actually are,and that statement isn't to absolve the young a$$holes who did what they did,they deserve whatever they get,but moving without thought of consequence is something I only expect of my children and the women around me.

The mother was visiting family in Oakland. She's from LA so maybe the father didn't make the trip. Either way you can't just expect a man to be around and save a woman from a dumbass decision. She's an adult and neither her nor her mother had enough sense to not run down and assault some teenagers. That's on them.

Call the police? Oakland is a Defund the Police city (how's that faring?) And the DA probably wouldn't prosecute.

Shoot the drug dealers? With what? CA is a heavy gun control state. And such action would definitely land her in jail.

This situation is the legacy left from the policies of a previously "tough on crime prosecutor".

Neither side had to attack the other with a weapon but they both did.

Those weapons weren't in the same tier of danger at all.

One weapon both parties can still walk away from, the other ends life and has someone fighting a potential charge.

I seen a nikka in HS stab some dude in the neck who had a gun and was tryna rob him, they locked up breh with the knife shyt can get weird in a court case if you aren't careful, shouldn't be shooting unless your back is against the wall, y'all in a car with windows and a revving engine, getting out and shooting was unnecessary.
