Call the police? Oakland is a Defund the Police city (how's that faring?) And the DA probably wouldn't prosecute.

Shoot the drug dealers? With what? CA is a heavy gun control state. And such action would definitely land her in jail.

This situation is the legacy left from the policies of a previously "tough on crime prosecutor".

Violent crime is no where near where it was in the 00’s and earlier, and there’s the same people committing crimes because there aren’t enough resources to catch them paired with soft laws. Like bipping, people literally would take pics of the same 3-4 cars riding around casing cars to break in, it’s not like every fukking person rolling around just breaking into cars.
