Boston.
I meant ne philly.
Boston.
those irish white boys ain't tripping on black folk out there?Boston isn’t as charged as y’all think. The biggest issue is the income inequality.
if you black you have no right being in East LA those Mexicans will trip hard, the gang members will press the issue, the civilians will just look at you crazy or just ignore you. What neighborhoods do blacks have to stay out of in LA? Ive lived all over the city and want to know what you were told.
Asian crips and black crips in Long beach trip on each other? Or is basically everyone vs the mexicans? Those Long Beach longos were/have been clashing with blacks for years. Even had random kids getting run down on by those Messicans.
you really don't think mexicans beef with any black gang? (piru, blood, hoover, crip)? The beef is purely territorial and built off racewhat hoods are you talking about that are beefing along racial lines?
most of the violence and murders is within the same race
They not even beefing right now.you really don't think mexicans beef with any black gang? (piru, blood, hoover, crip)? The beef is purely territorial and built off race
Name the streets in East LA that are dangerous. I'll take pics strolling around there tomorrowif you black you have no right being in East LA those Mexicans will trip hard, the gang members will press the issue, the civilians will just look at you crazy or just ignore you.
didn't say there is a war against blacks and mexicans, I'm just saying the sets that border each other who happen to be mexican and black will beef with each other. They not even beefing right now.
I could name numerous sets of Mexican v Mexican or black v black that are "actively beefing". Ain't no war/beef between races right now. There's lined not to be crossed between races, but they ain't active against each other.
Longos and Asians have active beef.Asian crips and black crips in Long beach trip on each other? Or is basically everyone vs the mexicans?
Not really breh. Many people don’t know that Boston is minority-majority city. When white folks want to be openly prejudice and hateful they move to suburbs or towns where they have more numbers.those irish white boys ain't tripping on black folk out there?
Hate to break it to you, there isn't a lot of racial tension here bruh. Dallas is probably the interracial dating capital of the country actually, not bragging about it just saying it as a statement of fact.
I just watched Crash.Well, duh, of course most of the violence is between same race. It's still the only city I've lived in with significant racial violence...
The hood I'm from/lived in as a kid is University/Expo Park, the Bloods over there been at it with 18s for a minute. And even before they were actually going at it with 18s, there was always tension (which, you know, doesn't mean violence). My uncle, which is who I lived with in LA, has worked for the post office since the 80s and I remember him talking about the Mexicans taking all the jobs, when hoods South Central started transitioning from mostly black to mostly Latino...
Also, you're missing the forest from the trees, I'm on your side here that LA is exaggerated and overrated with the hatefulness and tension. But you can definitely sense the tension if you are out in these Valley areas (Van Nuys/Pacoima is another area I'm familiar with) regarding these Asians and whites, and it's not always tension towards blacks.....its tension from everyone towards everyone...
Most people in LA never leave their section, but again, Crash did a great job highlighting what it's like in LA and the tension different groups feel towards each other. Anyone who has never seen Crash, it came out in '05 and is a wonderfully written and acted movie, go watch it, it's now on Netflix...
It's more accurate depiction of LA than the lazy "Mexicans gunning at blacks" takes. Again, I agree with you, the average person won't notice the tension and there isn't a ton of intra-racial violence (500 hate crimes in a city of 4 million people in a 365-day year is an unbelievably low percentage)...
Doesn't mean the racial tension isn't there, and yes, I would say LA probably deserves to be Top 10. But I actually dont think it's the worst or worse than NY for sure unless we are specifically calling out racial gang violence, and even that isn't outta control as people would believe, just more racial gang violence than other
Kinda true.
The police are shady in every city including Dallas, so that's kind of a wash. Here we have white Cali transplants and mid-west transplants but they don't really mesh well with native Texans. I actually think there's more tension with Indians and whites, especially in the burbs like Frisco and parts of Plano. Unlike east Asians, south Asians don't assimilate as readily and they tend to cluster together more. They make the schools crazy competitive and some of the white parents end up wanting to move their kids to less competitive schools so they can graduate top 5 to top 10% and get one of those auto-admits to UT or A & M.
Hit up Stonebriar Mall and it is swirl central with every combo imaginable.
Dallas definitely has a lot of racism but there are too many groups to really have "tension."
I’ve lived in Milwaukee my whole life (born and raised)I genuinely don’t feel the tension that people are talking about . Segregation is really bad here ( I peeped it even when I was little) but IMO it’s not the same thing. I’ve been all over the city and never felt like I was being watched or targeted. Then again I don’t venture very far to places like Germantown. I’m sure there’s definitely vibes heavy in those further out suburbs as opposed to Wauwatosa which is relatively diverse. West Allis can be very white trash/blue collar but I’ve never had any issues.
