underrated degrees are two year technical degrees like electronics and radiologic technology
Psychology isn’t bad per se, but many fail to realize you’re GOING to have to go to Grad School to be able to do anything with it (which a lot of people who took the major for the wrong reasons ain’t built for)
That Psy. D tho
Oh yeah advertising is a little underrated too. Literally every single Ad major I know got jobs making between 40-88k after they graduated
I might need to look into thisProfessional writing is grossly underrated. Most people laugh at any degrees relating to English but jobs like technical writing are critical to helping engineering projects and they won't be going away anytime soon.
I might need to look into this
You haven't come across a lot of college grads, a lot men are in psychologyI've never came across a human male that majored in psychology. Only women.
Engineering is not underrated!Overrated:
Psychology
Art
Business
Accounting
Underrated:
The engineering fields
Overrated: Any liberal arts degree.
Underrated: Any field involving a lot of math or mechanical aptitude .
I got a degree in forensic psychology because they're always gonna be jobs in that field (Especially in the court system and law enforcement not involving being a cop) also if I were go back to grad school I can branch out into a new field (going back for forensic science to be a crime analyst) . Though I wish I had minor in computer science (i'm self-teaching myself though) . Also, It's not the degree that sucks sometimes (unless it's Art ). It's the person that's utilizing it too. A lot of these liberal art majors don't use their broadness to their advantage .
really now ? I see your point. Could be a network issue too though. Connections are do or die in arts and media. There are a TON of jobs in the art world, it’s just that people don’t major in it to get those jobs. But the only people with said jobs are Art/Art history majors
