I have no problems doing hanging leg raises but ive always had a strong core though so i get why it might be tough for others.
How many do you do? Anything more than 3×15 for me is a struggle.

30 in a set2 sets of 30 with 1 min rest inbetween. its my last set i do on lower body day

Heavy dumbbell rows (155lbs+) without twisting the torso. Zercher squats. Strict hanging leg raises
shoulder pressThey're difficult as hell, but you feel like "gotta do 'em"
Overhand wide grip pull-ups - Very hard, always have been
In & Out Ab Crunches
Burpees
Uphill treadmill (6mph minimum) - IMO, the most efficient way to burn calories
I only do 1-5 reps now to limit the potential to visit Snap City. Those 5 rep sets are basically one rep at a time.Deadlifts over 3 reps.
You have to stay LOCKED in because you’re dealing with your back. Any slight error and you’re in trouble
