A Dark Song


I dunno if I discussed this one before but this movie bought out a LOT of emotions outta of me. And it was disturbing because of how realistic the rituals were.

On surface level it’s about a woman who loses a loved one and wants them back so badly, she’s willing to try anything.

But it quickly turns into a psychological study because a ritual requires her to be stuck in a house with a stranger who can take her through a ritual.
By the end of the movie there are some absolutely beautiful moments, that restore your faith in humanity and also reinforce a simple truth:

DONT MESS WITH THE OCCULT.

I just watched “the offering” where an arch angel is summoned to restore a loved ones life and it had those same symbols used for the ritual. Creepyvv
