Miss me with that "it's just part of the game" nonsense. I know a lot of people accept it but that type of behavior isn't ok. That may work for some athletes but I remember how nerve-wracking it was for myself and most of my teammates to get yelled at and then worry about making mistakes. Coaches treating me like garbage didn't make me perform better. I did my best when coaches would correct my mistakes and explain how to do it right, but without all that extra shyt. You can be a tough, hard-nosed coach without treating your players like garbage.

I'm coaching right now and, even though I'm kind of tough on them, I never yell at my kids like that or dress them down in public. If they make mistakes I correct them and keep it moving. You know what happens? They have confidence and they aren't afraid to make mistakes. You can criticize players and help them improve without going overboard and being a dikkhead. These coaches have too much control over their athletes.

If that was my son there is no way I would tolerate anybody talking to him like that. I don't care what title they have. This type of behavior from coaches shouldn't be accepted. I don't care how often it happens. Doesn't make it right.

whats the record of your team tho :myman:

what makes you think spreewell is broke? because hes not on tv?

he turned down nba deals. didnt he have his own rim company or some chit?

:mjpls:
Former NBA all star Latrell Sprewell must have choked away millions of dollars because he failed to make monthly payments on a house and a boat. He went into foreclosure on the home and the yacht was sold at auction. Sprewell received harsh criticism after saying "I've got a family to feed" while turning down a $21 million contract.

The player defended himself after getting shoved and that why his coach went ape shyt. He's lucky he didn't shove the wrong player.

Yet you dudes are calling for a Black Coaches head. This isn't a black or white issue you lame.

Mike Brown and his "you dudes" bs. Calling for black coaches has nothing to do with this and everything to do with your punk ass tying it to this.

Get this alias troll off this board...and fukk that coach for pushing that kid.

he spazzed on a butter-soft rookie. you act as if he humilitated joey porter.

saban didnt get fired but he was out of his element. thus, his nfl stint was a failure.

and most of the other links posted made headlines. only one that went completely under the radar was the andy reid joint but that was a 2-way argument, which proves dude's point - hence, the difference between pro & college players.

i think the racial aspect comes in from the fact that this incident seems to get more attention than others.

like somebody said on the last page, what about tommy tubberville? it was 12 days ago and is already forgotten. nor was there a big issue made out of this on sportscenter, like they doing to sean woods who coaches for a mid-major school thats never talked about any other time.

***falls back***

but how does carlismo get the last laugh?
