I don't think anyone is talking about outer space aliens anymore. The official narrative is moreso based on inter-dimensional beings that are on this planet. Not traveling millions of miles thru space.

I think I know the implications, and they include reasoning that some people are very invested in not having NHI verified.

Us and other countries monitoring space may not be sufficient. If there are NHI visiting our planet, their technology may be too exotic or advanced for our radar to detect.

I do believe that a good portion of the "UFOs" witnessed are ours. As far as the information leaking or not, people are not aware of how efficient our government CAN be when it wants to. If they are motivated to keep something secret they can do so. Nothing helps you keep your mouth closed like threat of imprisonment and/or death of you and family. Not to mention the type of people they would even hire, the people who can pass the background check and meet the profile for people they want. This country often gives the impression that secrets can't be kept, but hell naw, we're not a world power for nothing.

Lastly, I don't know if you're up on the latest, but the issue isn't even that they are extraterrestrial. The fear, and what it's looking like is that these are beings that are from Earth and have been here all along. Just that they're hundreds of thousands of years older than us. That can be even bigger trouble than them coming from another planet.
