Knicks: 93 til infinity
The thing is also that a fair amount of these 3s are terrible shots. Like you have random nobodies taking step-back contested threes with 14 on the clock lmao. Regardless of maths and statistics and whatnot, it's just a bad shot and half of the time even looks trash. Some guys will make it more than others, but it doesn't change the fact that in itself it's a bad shot.
I've always said that the Warriors were exciting because they had great ball and player movement on the court, leading to wide open threes. Only Curry and sometimes Klay were taking those hero three dribbles side step contested threes. Them other guys were all taking wide open threes that were coming off great passing, the play was already great before the actual shot. And they were always mixing it up. How many times did we see Steph and Klay fake the three and take a middie. Matter of fact the Dubs were KILLING teams with the middie when you add in Livingston, West, KD later, etc. It was always a big part of their game, which is something Houston never understood and we saw how that ended. Anyways all that to say that even the team seen as the ultimate three point team was actually heavilly based on passing and the midrange shot. It was the whole thing that made the cool to watch. Just like the 2014 Spurs, plus three point shots basically.
And like @Koli_Kat said, you have insane word athletes with all kind of height, jumps, strenghth etc who spend way too much time dribbling and dancing around the 3 point line and launching bad three pointers. Imagine if players like Kemp, Wilkins, Vince, Kobe, Griffin etc had spent the majority of their prime sitting at the three point line what a waste it would've been from a fan standpoint
