Nikka I wont even argue this foolishness; young Roy is someone you could visibily look at and sees he goes to sleep with a needle in his ass; the power, speed, size and muscles mass

O...K? If it's all that simple...break out the needles and special shakes and go make another Roy.

As we all know, human muscle mass & speed is only acquired via steroid use. :heh:

Manny Pacquiao was the closest thing we seen to Roy; but more technical, then again.....he had those needle problems too:heh:....:manny:

SN: Roy was a fool to go back to 175; his last few years at 175 he lost his pop he was draining; recently watching Ruiz he was big strong, fast, and visibly a HW then.....The Roy that beat the ruiz that night would have troubled any HW then, Lennox would have to be on his A game to not get countered by a bomb he aint see; he was super sharp and hard to see how he could get up for a Tarver when he was already swimming with the big dogs at heavy

Don't forget about Floyd Baneweather and his 750ml IV he needs to quickly flush out his system...for whatever reason :sas2:

Roy has shown to be a dynamic athletic talent going back to his early teen years...shyt, Pac too...he just didn't have the tutelage neccessary to properly develop his talent out there in the Phillippines.

There will be another fighter with Floyds skillset before Roys though; Roy was that nikka, shame what he has become, still fighting still getting his ass whooped, the worse drop off in boxing, when you look at Roy you have to question everything; the convenient ducks, ripped fuel, trash competition

Ezzard Charles fall off was worse...and he's a greater, more accomplished and generally higher rated fighter than Roy.

Charles was getting beat & KO'd by full fledged journeymen on the regular during his fall off...everybody Roy has been stopped/beaten by was either a current/former champ or was rated in the top 10.

i think that fall off was because of the fact he was fighting with the symptoms of the ALS in his later fighting years that eventually killed him

Thought he wasn't diagnosed with ALS until about 10 years after he retired? :jbhmm:

slow burn symptoms maybe :manny:

heres a quote i found

Charles died from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, on May 28, 1975. Charles said he first noticed the ailment in 1955. "After a guy hit me, I didn't seem to be able to get away," he recalled. "I didn't have the same coordination."

The Original Rec Room Gang
Floyd was ULTRA fast and was insanely prepared boxer who, in the beginning, mixed it up a little too much for someone who got as good defensively as he ended up being. Roy was a phenom and could avoid anything from just head movement and using the ropes...didn't take solid hits and had hilarious accuracy you'll never see ever again in your lifetime.
For the heads who don't really know, Roy Jones in his prime was very similar to Anderson Silva during his prime. Same type of taunts too :ohhh:

Wish the Roy Silva fight would have happened both when they were near prime; when Roy started entertaining foolishness like this it was clear he was just having fun with this boxing shyt and doing it to do it
