Pistons got Casey a year after a coach of the year search and Stan Van Gundy to turn down Golden State for them. The last three head coaches all were highly sought after.

Getting Monty, having Troy, already having Cade/Ivey/Duren and all of these names being locked in for the next 4-6 years should mean even more gradual growth unless they somehow get a Booker/all star caliber player to come to the city. Tbh they should roll their cap space over one more year and swing at a much better class next off season. Unless they are hell bent on bringing Jerami Grant back, signing Cam Johnson who is younger, or something like that they shouldn’t feel like they have to rush shyt UNLESS Cade comes back looking like the 24/7/7 guy he was looking like before he got hurt

Is that the longterm goal in Detroit :ohhh:

I think they have the most flexibility I’ve seen from the organization ever lol
I think with Jaden ivey if he pans out it’s going to be him and Cade with whatever fits around + Duren. But of course if you can add a 25+ elite player to this core that would be perfect
Devin Booker being from the area and always repping Detroit is a good sign but by having Cade Ivey and Duren + another top five pick with top three cap space this year or potentially top three cap next year if they roll it over

Ya’ll some Monkey see monkey do ass nikkas

We talkin SPORTS nikka..

EVERY aspect of it

I don’t like how he coached in the Finals and I don’t understand why they gave him $78 million

fukk outta here

It’s to show commitment to a new direction. Pistons are going to be built around 3 very young players and the #5 pick that won’t be hitting their prime for a good 4-5 years. Young players lose in the NBA, so it’s worth it when it comes to hiring staff or attracting free agents later

Glad the pistons did this.

This was a very important hire for them with three young guys (Cade,Ivey,Duren) that need further development to reach their high potentials.. go grab a guy with a proven track record of doing that …more teams should be doing the same .

Rockets (Udoka) and Pistons did great

You won't find better detailing for the type of whips Dev has in his garage than right here in the city:sas2:
