I have been through a lot of trauma but I can't recall fear like that for myself.....

I've for sure felt fear for others.

We were on the beach one time and my son was small....like 4 or 5 and were playing with the waves...

I barely saw it happen in my peripheral..but next thing I know he gets sucked into a ripcurrent.

He was standing and then the ocean just snatched him up and pull him out at an incredible rate of speed.

My heart dropped and my stomach flipped.

I was probably 20 feet or so away from him.

At that point there was 0 thought and instinct kicked in immediately.

I just darted as fast I could and dove right into the crashing waves.

I couldn't see anything.... couldn't find him....

I'm struggling myself not 2 drown.

It felt like an eternity.

By the grace of god I I felt one of his legs and grabbed it and pulled him into me.

As soon as I had him we surfaced and got beat up by some waves but made it out.

I got him on shore and he spit up a lot of water and started to cry.....I just held him tight and he was ok.

Felt true fear that day.
Rip currents are REAL

one thing you gotta respect is that mf ocean

I was riding my motorcycle to work. I was a commuter rider. It’s 815 in the morning, traffic is moving and I’m going maybe 55 mph. I’m in the lane next to the fast lane (four lane highway) and a pigeon dips in and gets stuck on me.

It was on me for a solid 3-4 seconds, flapping in its wings. This is rush hour traffic so had I have dropped, I would have been ran over by 4 cars easy.

shyt looked like that scene from Wild Hogs.

I could remember a car to my left with kids in the back. Kids were pointing and laughing at me. I could have dropped and died.

When I ran out into busy traffic when I was little. My neighbor had a bunch of family over her house. Her and a cousin were playing catch with a tennis ball and those velcro pads. They wouldn't let me play so I threw myself in by retrieving the ball when they missed and it went down the driveway our houses shared. One ball got away from me and I ran out into the street. I heard them calling after me but I was set on getting that damn ball. smh Almost got hit by a car and moms snatched me up. She yelled at me but I understood because she was scared. My neighbor's mom randomly banned me from their house though. lol

As an adult, I had just got off work and was in pretty good mood. Ran the light not even realizing and all the cars blew their horns. Drove 10 & 2 in complete silence all the way home.

I can count how many times I’ve ridden visor up. When I did do it, it’s mostly going to the gas station or down the street. I been hit by bees, dragon flies, bugs in my mouth.
:russ:
I see them cruisers with no helmets and think
:picard:
I think I’ve told you, I’ve ridden without a helmet maybe 5 times in my life, once I laid down going 15 into a median and ate dirt.

It would have been nasty if it was payment.
:merchant:
Still picked up the condoms, smashed, she was chewing on my busted lip and ended up having a fractured arm.
:wow:
I haven’t ridden in 10 years now. Ducati is in my back yard right now.
