for me it wasn't the gum, but I've done some shyt where I throw a towel up behind my back and catch it in the front with the face. I'm sure I've seen him do it or I just associate it with him.

Couple months ago my wife and I drove past an accident scene on a highway. Traffic of course was very slow, and as we passed the scene we saw a dude standing there with blood on his face talking to a cop.

My wife, who isn't a wrestling fan at all, said "Think he bladed?" I had to laugh. (I mean, it was definitely hardway ...)

Clearly even if you don't watch wrestling, if you live with someone who watched too much of it, you're gonna pick up some shyt along the way.

When I was a kid I was shy as hell and hated entering classrooms (6th grade). My pops passed, for example, I was off for like a week & when I got back I was wondering how to walk in without shyt being mad awkward. What I would do in those situations is picture people like HHH/Austin when they made triumphant returns and to help build courage up & walk in with confidence

I can say with 100% certainty that no matter how shytty the product is/was/will become, I'm glad I was into wrestling. You can apply wrestling terms to anything and shyt will be comedy. Then you add that to the natural comedy of Coli posters and its beautiful. Almost feel bad for the posters who dont understand the amount of TSC gems that exist
