Parents drop by damn near anytime to see their child (especially at a public school)
The teach could easily say she didn’t know the parent was going to say that and she just wanted to address the class, which she can do and she was powerless to stop her.

Disagree, I've seen alot of bullying be stopped from a parent directly calling out the kid. And also seen alot of beef be deaded when you threaten to get parents involved.

It's all fun and games until your mom gets the call after dinnertime and you know you were in the wrong.

I am American and in the legal field. There is no legal basis for a lawsuit. They can whine and complain as much as they want but any lawsuit would be frivolous. The mother has a number of defenses. If you really want to get technical, the mother can actually sue the school for negligence. If there is a pattern of persistent negative behavior toward the daughter and the school failed to respond in the proper manner. The mother, could file a countersuit for a number of reasons especially if she was consistent in trying to remedy the behavior toward her child through the right procedures. Not to mention that if she is in a primarily white school environment - that could open the door to other issues with race-based harassment and bullying:

• there was a widespread, persistent pattern conduct on the part of school employees

• school officials knew about that misconduct and either were deliberately indifferent to it or tacitly authorized it, and

• the school’s failure to respond adequately to the misconduct caused the injury to the student

You really need to fall back with all the suing a black mother for defending her child. Because if she was really on it, she has a basis for her own claims.

1st of all we don't know if the parents are shytty or not ...
Peer pressure is a real thing and kids are social media crazed.
It's a very good chance that the child comes from a good home and the parent's don't even know
That's why you should contact the school or school board to set up some mediation between the kids and parents
Or at the very least move your child to a different class. It's ways to handle this and not get you or your kid in trouble

this is why I questioned the other dude when he mentioned the “white” kids...whether the kids are black/white I still feel she should not have been allowed to speak in front those kids like that...and I don’t think she will face any consequences simply bcuz she’s dealing w/ white families assuming that’s even the case...classrooms today have about 25-30 kids on average...we barely saw 1/4 of that class

If my kid didn’t do anything. And now I’m sending him to therapy cause this women threatened to beat up his mother INSTEAD of her filing a lawsuit. That’s a case

Her kids problem ain’t my kids problem. Especially if he didn’t have shyt to do with it. He was completely innocent and had to sit in fear as this strange woman said she’d persoanllu beat his mom into the ground and cussed at him.
