and I never asked why does race matter in the american educational system...he mentioned the mom was addressing “white” students and I thought that odd...would it have made a difference if she were addressing “black” students? but then dude explained the point he was trying to make

this is an ultra generic statement...in a perfect world that’d be great but from my teaching experience too often I’ve seen kids that came from good homes whose parents I knew rather well act a pure ass in school...peer pressure is a bytch and it’s been made 1000x worse w/ the impact of social media

It's not generic, if a parent's kid is a bully, that reflects their parenting. Worst thing a kid can be is a bully.

If my kid is being bullied and I have to come up there because my kid is crying to me, I would say the same thing.

You bully my kid, I'ma see your parents, guardians or whatever and I'ma beat they ass because they can't control you and it's gonna be your fault that your parents or guardians got they ass whooped. Go tell them. Next PTA meeting, whatever it is, you still bullying my kid, I'ma see your parents and I'ma warn them.

I don't care about all the other stuff, it ain't my job as parent to worry about all of that. My job is taking care of my kid. I ain't gonna be burying my kid because these parents are trash.

Shes emotional and I get that. Its biology its love for one's child that every living thing has.

Its risky though. Shes on camera uttering threats. Shes dead to rights if someone connected to that kid claims that he or she was hurt by this kids mom.

Your #1 responsibility as a parent is to teach your child. You have to show them how to survive when you're gone and ingrain in them the fact that someone will not always be there to stand up for them. Stand up for yourself even if you will lose. You can go down knowing you weren't a victim. you fought back.

the only thing I’m saying differently is that the mother may not face any legal issues if she was permitted to address the kids...she didn’t touch anyone...aside from that I agree w/ most of what you said...you can sue the school...whether you’ll be able to do so successfully is another story...worst case scenario if the parents raise a big enough stink and the principal is not in good w/ his/her supervisor(s) then she might get transferred or even completely removed

I can see that.. It's not her fault if the staff let her in there.. But if she came under false pretenses, then that's a problem.. I'm still not sure you can physical threaten to beat people's ass and get away with it, if they press charges... She's black in Georgia.. She better have all her ducks in a row

At the end tho... I can't blame a frustrated mom for doing what she has to, to try and save her daughter. I just don't think execution was smart or effective... No kid is about to be like "Oh I can't tease Jill today or her mom will find my mom and beat her up"

There are really way too many factors we aren't aware of.... My first thought was she's a teacher in another class or something, so she was already there.. I admit sometimes these kids need a dose of “real life shyt” in order to be humbled but it shouldn’t happen in the classroom...I don’t know what measures were taken prior to this tho...endgame tho? that parent shouldn’t have been in the classroom in that capacity

No, she's not. There's a little thing in the law, that's called evidence and self-defense. All the parents can do is whine and complain, but no one will touch or bother her kid after this..at least she's protected. God forbid, should something occur- that mother will bring fire from the deepest darkest depths of hell on that school.
