Polygamy wouldnt work here because majority of nikkas are only worried about having 3somes and orgies. Let’s be real, most don’t give a damn about family lineage or #BlackLove:deadmanny: Ask a Coli nikka why he wants a polygamous relationship. First response will be “unlimited 3sums”:mjlol:

Also, y’all want emulate these other cultures so bad but still refuse to acknowledge that homosexuality is still very much outlawed and frowned upon. Ain’t nobody having 3sums. The wives don’t even sleep in the same bed. They don’t even live in the same house. Each wife had her own crib, doesn’t work, and the husband takes care of everyone and everything. If they do live in the same house, please believe it’s a big enough crib where each wife has her own section. I’m Liberian, I’ve witnessed polygamy first hand from men in my family.

I’m actually totally fine with polygamy. I’d be down with it as long as I’m the stay at home wife. I’ll cook, clean, and take care of all the kids:ld:

I'm pretty sure men who are really about that polygamy life and not just trolling... Are men who are about paper... Not chasing p*ssy all day.

p*ssy aint shyt..

Naw that broad is hating, fantasy flexing and quite possibly a blavity, most of them are 2nd genners.

She probably picked up that idealolgy at some liberal arts university thus rejecting something part of nature. America makes it where people treat cultural things they dont understand (or white people dont approve) as primitive vs simply saying “it aint for me but do your thing”. Because of this you see AAs who may grow up around whites reject the traditions of their family and call it “country” or children of immigrants rejecting the culture of their parents calling it “primitive”.

Above the fray.
This polygamy in Africa is the Islamic influence. Article dances around that and says "cultural and religious practice of polygamy" but I've yet to met a continental African who comes from a culture/ethnic that practiced polygamy pre Islam.

I'm not naive, I know that there HUNDREDS of distinct ethnic groups, and that I've not encountered people from even a fraction of them. I just think it is/was rare. Perhaps allowed for rulers and kings but not regular people.

Can somebody who has studied this expound?

Believe me. No women is signing up for polygamy if it dont benefit them. nikkas using American logic but by American logic, no woman would sign up for it and no man would do it as America got child support and women can easily cheat. Ain't no voodoo doctors, ain't that many men with the means for more than one house, it's not feasible

It's usually practiced after war time or in cultures where divorce is extremely difficult. There is a reason why the woman gets on her knees, not the other way around but this has to benefit the woman at the end of the day or this practice wouldn't make it out of one generation. Women aren't dumb

My great-grandfather had 3 wives and had 12 children combined. As a result, I had a WHOLE bunch of cousins once removed as a result that even to this day, i am still meeting for the first time. He was a local chief in Northern Ghana at the time.

Polygamy is still very much a thing today in most of the Muslim dominated areas of West Africa. Especially if you have money and status.

More than just that, children, lineage is critical. But its rarely due to the wife's request for another wife. They got maids for that. It's usually due to the husband just wanting something different. Women are seen as property in places like Nigeria. The reason why they are okay with it is because the culture is so strong and very beneficial to the women there. When the culture is weaken, then you start seeing Oyinbos and etc.

Women care more about lineage and culture than men do and understand how its critical for the next generation.

Lineage is important because ot dictated access to opportunity for future generations.

Polygamy is also critical to nation building.
