I skipped last year mostly because a Yankee was on the cover. Game play trailer looks good but is always looks good. Hopefully the fix some of the flaws in franchise mode, I'll consider buying it.

They tried so hard to give it a arcade feel but the sim aspect of this franchise has been stuck in neutral.
RTTS got rid of the monetary system in 18 and now it's clear as day that the main focus is in Diamond Dynasty
Franchise hasn't changed and has been bland since 2009.
The graphics have been the same all generation
TL:DR ... this minor tweaks bullshyt is pushing this game into skip every other year status.

Diamond Dynasty is wack
They've literally been copying and pasting the same animations or like 15 years now. I remember playing this game on PSP years ago, and it having the exact same player movement
Man, the show was the MAIN reason I got a PS4, this and the hope of TLOU2 coming out on the PS4 anyway, and last years was BUNS! The xbox don't even have a baseball game so I needed me fix but that shyt was insanely glitched out. Had baserunners diving back to their base on line drives!! Which was a glitch from the ps3 and they still haven't fixed it. RTTS was riddled with glitches as well. Had my pitcher throwing to a RF playing catcher and I had like, no lie, 15 wild pitches/passed balls per game. shyt was infuriating. I was beyond salty.
I wish some developer would grow some balls and put out their own MLB game. One company having a monopoly is ever good for the consumer. And this is coming from a guy who's logged shameful hours I'm the yearly iterations of The Show.

2018 was the first time since 2006 that they changed the animation for winning the world series ... and all they did was just put a frame around the team as they celebrate and hoist the trophy.
