The records speak more so of longevity, because he played 20 years in the NHL. If you look at Jordan's career objectively, he only played really 11 NBA seasons. 1986, He broke his foot and missed 64 games, 1994 (retired), 1995 (played 17 nba regular season games) 1999, 2000, (retired) then the last 2 wiard years. There's no doubt Jordan would be the leading scorer in NBA history had there not been unfortunate mishaps which cost him to miss numerous NBA seasons in his prime. It looks like an excuse on text, but it's actually an objective and sensible reason.

:heh:he has more points using his first 11 seasons than the next person has in their entire 25 year career:heh:

but you don't here me tho:yeshrug:

Nobody has dominated their sport statistically like Gretzky has and I'm a brother saying this.

The fact that goalie equipment has gotten bigger and bigger over the years means his records aren't going anywhere
Actually, the NHL has been clamping down on goalie equipment size and it has been decreasing the maximum size for trappers, blockers, pants, pads, chest/arm units and anything that would unnecessarily increase blocking space without providing protection.

It's kind of comparing apples to oranges.
I would compare hockey players to hockey players. Basketball players to basketball players, boxers to boxers, etc.

^^^^^ I stopped after this....mane

i used to hate on soccer too.

i went on youtube and just randomly found out who that was. his name is ronaldo ...

i didnt want to say it right away but really he is >>>>>>>>>>> allen iverson in terms of handles, agility, and broken ankles. and i considered allen to be the deadliest

what he can do dribbling a ball with his feet is actually more deadly than what a player like iverson can do dribbling with his hands

watch this and tell me im flying
