I don't know if it's constitutionally legal or not, but it's still illegal for churches to endorse political candidates.

Johnson Amendment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If nothing else, churches that do so ought to be taxed.

It's not illegal, they just lose the tax exempt status if they do.

However, clearly, there are definitely campaign strategies that involve the church and Church officials who get their followers to vote a certain way. They are getting around that law somehow.

or the IRS isn't auditing enough churches.

No. Read a few more chapters (in total) and get into the history of the region at that time and you'll understand.

The only thing that proves, and you have proved, is that the Bible contradicts itself. I already know that.

That's a warning NOT to judge others......:snoop:

No shyt. That's exactly why I quoted it. Why do Christians judge gays?

The constitution doesn't forbid an interest group from lobbying and organizing for policy or supporting it.

It forbids laws rooted in only specific religions.

The supreme court decides what is constitutional not you.

They already have you skull shape obsessed motherfukker.

No contradictions if you actually read and know the history. Which Christians out of the 2 billion are you referring to?

No, there are plenty of contradictions. You can't say treat a slave good and then still advocate treating a person like a piece of property they pass down to the next generation.

Which Christians? This argument? Do you not live in America?

We have entire churches practicing open discrimination and advocating their religious laws. We have certain churches supporting homosexual killings in Africa directly. I'm talking about those Christians.

No, there aren't 'plenty of contradictions' (lol @ Google Searching) if you actually bother to study the history. Also, the only way to inherit a slave was if the slave CHOSE to stay with the family upon the former Master's death. You were required, by Hebrew law, to treat slaves well since if you even knocked a tooth out of their mouth, they were freed:

Exodus 21:26-27

And if a man strikes the eye of his male or female slave, and destroys it, he shall let him go free on account of his eye.
And if he knocks out a tooth of his male or female slave, he shall let him go free on account of his tooth.

There are over 2,000,000,000 Christians. Your 'beef' is with a small percentage of them who get an inordinate amount of attention due to hypocrisy, unlike the guy in O/P's video.
