Recently marathoned the first 4 films after seeing RN and loving it, really wasn't into the series like that but damn I've been sleeping brehs
2 things:
My least favorite is easily 2 and I'm prob gonna catch hate but is there a more annoying thing to watch than a John Woo film NOT named Hard Boiled. It was awkward watching all that slow motion over dramatic shooting In a damn Mission Impossible movie, actually put me o sleep
I purposely didn't get into 3 at first because I didn't see Philly Seymour Hoffman as a legit bad guy. I was wrong though
dude killed it. That was actually the one that had me the most 
cuz of that wonderful opening scene. The plot was bomb too.

This franchise will never be as outlandish , fun and popular as Fast and the Furious. But it's def following their mold of re booting themselves mid run to get that formula. Tom Cruise is young/old enough where he can def see 3-4 more God willing. They gonna def need to keep making these
