I usually leave these IMF Films with a Big Smileon my Face but this may be the 1st 1 that actually left a Bad Taste in my Mouth.

I just didn't like the Story all that much. I guess I just wasn Sold on The Syndicate and what they were about. I don't want to Spoil it but I guess I just expected them to be a bit more Extreme. They didn't seem like such a Great Threat.

Luther Da Gawd is Da Gawd so I thought he deserved more Screen Time.

Great Action of course.:win:

No Precious Paula Patton.:mjcry:

This may be The Weakest 1 out of the Series, hopefully Tom f some more cutting edge Piff next Summer.

3/5 :manny:

I liked it but not as much as Ghost Protocol.

It was surprisingly slow and talkative for a MI movie and IMO the physicality and action scenes weren't quite as prevalent or intense. I feel they may have scaled it back due to Cruise's age.

The opera set piece, the underwater piece and car chase were the highlights.

Wasn't a fan of the villain. Didn't see him or the syndicate as that big of a threat.

Ghost had better action sequences and more fun characters(Renner's character did more, Cruise more physical, better plot, etc).

I take back what I said about the Plane Scene. I thought it was CGI but that ish was Real. Props Tom:

I should watch this soon. Tom Cruise, no matter how bad reputation he has as a person. There's no denying that most of his movies are watchable, often because of him. Great actor, he can play villain, hero, cocky, sensitive and everything in between.

imma stop you right there. luther was simply too damn flabby to do much more than he did in this film. they had that little chase in the parking garage, and even tho it was written into the script, that nikka was legit outta breath down there.

they really need to bring paula patton back into the mix tho.
