wasn't as good as Ghost Protocol, plus no Paula made me :mjcry:

the new girl wasn't as hot and the story was confusing as fukk. Even the action sequences weren't as good as Ghost Protocol.

I think Ghost Protocol spoiled us .. 5/10.

I think I gotta go.

Part 1
Part 4
Part 5
Part 2
Part 3

3 was my least favorate one though it had it's moments. Phillp Seamor Hoffman was the best Villian though along with John Voight.

:why: that wasn't really mission impossible though

I think it was. its the outlier now but back when it came out we didn't know what mission impossible was. I think they really didn't figure out how to crack the code for the movies until part 4 as far as locking down a formula, although part one is still my favorite one. But for the first three movies they're really experimenting not just with tone but with characters and that's the beauty of having different directors all put their stamp on it. It's still a bad movie tho

having watched the 60s and 80s show I knew exactly what mission impossible was and as far as movies go the 1st already achieved it at 3 (in some respect) 4 and 5 following

You did they didn't that's my point breh. Even the first one goes against the grain of the TV show by essentially making it the Ethan show

One of the few movies this year, that I felt, it wouldn't be same seeing it at home. Some of them camera angles was crazy. I felt like I was in that mug alot times.

It was a team initially the team dies and then he forms another team in the end even in the tv show an operative would get an episode to themself

I know that breh but they seemed more concerned with Ethan rather than the team dynamic which is what I'm saying. Whereas in these last two they're very very concerned with the team dynamic. All I'm saying is two movies in they were trying to figure out what they wanted to do and to me they didn't really get it until the fourth

I don't think it's so much about them finding what MI "is" as it is about Cruise not being the mega star he once was so they have to make these (at least appear) as an ensemble even though we know he is the main man
