I was taken out of the movie by the convoluted storyline. Everybody turning on each other every other scene. Felt like a movie version of The Royale Rumble. I couldn’t keep up with the fukkery.

As great as the action sequences were, some felt forced. For example, parachuting into the party was completely unnecessary aside from delivering an action sequence.

Some of the bike chase scenes were overdone.

But then again, I don’t really remember any of the other MI movies so maybe that’s what these movies are all about.

You must hate the fast and the furious franchise

Movie was dope as hell but still might put Rogue Nation over it. I felt that while the movie had great actions scenes, it didnt have any of the sneaky suspenseful infiltration scenes we seen from past movies in the series.

I think this movie handled pure action better than any film in the last 2 decades save Mad Max Fury Road...It was technically near perfect, especially how that bathroom fight scene was shot. No crash focusing/shakycam/extreme close up/motion sickness direction that has plagued most action films recently. It was clean, direct, and absolutely brutal.

But as an overall "complete" moviegoing experience, by going for all those giant set pieces, they did sacrifice having some smaller scale "tension-filled" scenes that provided some of the most entertaining moments from the other recent films, especially Ghost Protocol (the diamond exchange switcharoo scene in the Burj hotel rooms, Benji and Ethan infiltrating the Kremlin with the hallway screen, etc.).

Just watched it. Real good movie. Lots of action, great plot with twists and turns, tall good watch. Went to a new theater I had never been to before. Still fairly new, I think it's maybe a year old if that. Now that I switched to AMC, this looks like the one I'll be hitting up. Gonna miss my main theatre but this one looks real nice inside. My main one is nearly twenty years old so it's not as modern. Plus I can watch in imax which is a huge plus.

Seriously this and Man from Uncle convinced me that Henry Cavill should get a crack at Bond as well. Tom Cruise was phenomenal with these crazy ass stunts my boy was booking it in that second act:whoo::ooh:The Bathroom scene!!!

shyt was garbage. Except for the Kashmir part this one ugly ass movie. Plot didnt make any fukking sense, dialogue was trash, every actor mailed it in except Simon Pegg and I'm disappointed there was no spy scenes.

The bathroom scene was dope though.
