Contrary to GOP orthodoxy

The free market does not solve all problems. The free market is supposed to handle BUSINESS and its competition and 'survival of the fittest' ethos.

It does not apply to

Health care
Clean water
Civil rights
Clean air
Medical leave.

Those items are only solved by government. Period.

I have a lot of issues with the Democratic party but the current GOP can go to hell.

You may get better weather but you gotta deal with lax gun laws, racists, lunatics, book bannings, politicians who regulate women's bodies and side with domestic terrorists and racists.

The best part is that even if you actually do consider yourself a capitalist, you realize that creating barriers to participating in the process of buying and selling goods is counterproductive.

If you want people to work more, you give them enough time to recover when they're sick.

If you want more workers, you pay people enough to afford houses to raise big families in.

If you want people to work for longer, you support subsidized medicine so they use less sick time.

If you want to keep making money, you put billions into reversing climate change so your businesses don't literally sink when a tidal wave destroys your headquarters or your employees die from wildfires or heat stroke.

What we've got ain't capitalism it's a death cult trying to kill as many people as possible because they still believe overpopulation is a thing and they're racists who still secretly believe in eugenics.

Sarah Huckabee’s AG has filed to be released from Federal Law over desegregation oversight because they want to bring segregation back because they want to send rich white kids to private schools using public voucher funds. they want to deflate the resources (that are already paltry) of public schools and render them useless.

All the red states are trying to do this. They want to overturn Brown vs the Board of Education, bring segregation (unequal) back, widen the gap between poor and the wealthy and have education be a privilege only rich white folks can afford.

But…yeah…Cube is quiet on these policy initiatives because……...the Dems.

If you can afford it, you must pay for it is not a concept that should apply to something like childhood education, especially when the government will get you in trouble if they find out you don't send your kids to any school. Feeding them while they have them for the day is the among the least they can do.
