She wasn’t under no threat or even being attacked the adrenaline angle makes no sense when 1. The black officer did not need her assistance and if anything she made the situation worse by getting involved. 2. The dude running away was doing that, he wasn’t attacking or being a threat to anyone where she could be so caught up that she can’t look down and see she has a gun in her hand.

It would have taken two seconds for her to do this, she shoots the guy and he still ends up driving away so what was the point, looks like an accident that wasn’t actually an accident to me.

Nah man you can hear it in her voice she was like wtf did i do. Nobody is perfect and people make mistakes. Hindsight is 20/20 but shyt you could have fukked that situation up. In the heat of the moment shyt happens. I actually looked up police mistakes and this shyt is common.

People are asking these kids (under 30) who have quite literally grown up seeing 1080/4K footage of people that look like them dying from what should be simple encounters with police to “be the adults in the situations” and have “rational” responses to themselves having police interaction or contact.

Caron Nazario and Daunte Wright both had legitimate concern over ending up a hashtag from way too heavy handed police interaction

Old heads knew what the deal was with police sure, I have my stories. A lot of us do. .. but we didn’t have to see real time boots on the ground footage of our people laying dead on the ground and the chaos that immediately ensued so old heads especially need to stop this bullshyt rinse and repeating cop talking points about “don’t resist”

instead of demanding accountability from these sick motherfukkers who never bother to learn de-escalation techniques due to that dicey bullshyt ass qualified immunity clause

I’ve done hole in the wall bouncer gigs, private security and even bodyguard work, how come I had hundreds of physical confrontations and I never as much as used a weapon of any sort. .gun, baton. tazer, or mace?

Oh that’s right.

Didn’t have qualified immunity so I learned to talk to, reason with and empathize people in their most enraged, drunken, confused, concerned, afraid, states.

This happened less than 15 minutes from my front door step and I’ve been having to avoid people on social etc because entitled head buried in the sand “hot takes”

Pretty much. It's crazy that the cacs who infest this site can give the cop all the grace and force the 'people make mistakes' angle but can't understand how a 20 year old can make questionable decisions while potentially facing death (and sadly he was right) or imprisonment. Bootlickers have been brainwashed into believing cops can do no wrong

You're too emotional over something that was clearly a mistake. You're out here fighting the "race war" that will never end well as you cause separation. The real fight you can actually win is what Fred Hampton campaigned.

would you run?

I'm not gambling when i know these cops are cowards looking for a reason.

Do you have kids? Nephews? How do you tell them to avoid outcomes like this? What do you tell them?

Talk to me like a fukking man.

I'm a black man and you WILL respect something on this forum at the end of the day.

The 215
Sandra Bland died after “just letting them handcuff” her

It’s not some guarantee smh
I understand your emotional right now and I get it but this is bad logic. You can't use the outliers as the norm my man. How many people get arrested everyday and Sandra Bland doesn't happen? That's why this is bad logic because while, you can give an example or two the majority of people that get arrested don't have a Sandra Bland happen. Not much is guaranteed but this take is still bad.

Saw the video with audio and :mjcry:...:francis: it was an accident.

With that said she still has to go to jail. There are too many regular people in jail due too accidents for her not too. Not for long...maybe 5 years...but she need go and lose her pension. And the city pay that boys daughter and mom.

I told yall in another thread...cacs are goofy! I trained with them and especially female cacs trying to be police are goofy as hell.

Also, a veteran close to retirement is more goofy than a rookie. Often by that time they're pulled off field duty and made paper pushers for that reason. She should not have been out there. Sounds as though she pissed someone in the office off and the Captain called himself punishing her by giving her street duty. Knowing she probably hadn't been honestly qualified with her equipment in years. Whoever threw her on street duty fukked her over.

I think 10-15 is fair. Manslaughter charge. I dont think it was intentional but you never know.

Shes a fukking idiot though, how are you a trained policewoman and panicking and shyt. Like do they not train you for these situations :mindblown:

Contrary to what civilians think...there's not as much training as we think :francis:.

I'm talking about from 1 day to a few days max. Yearly. In a class with up too 30 other officers. And we know how classes are...you have the people who just sit there, the people who are clowning, the robocops, the nearly sleep people, and the veterans who just get their card signed off automatically.

Compare it too a fight...where you pick up something and don't even know what you got until after the fight.

She has to go to jail...but it was an accident.

My first thought from watching the bodycam footage was nikka, wtf is you thinking. At that point you might as well go to the precinct. He did some silly shyt. With that said fire that bytch.
breh I'll fault the young man for trying to get back in the car after they almost had him cuffed but I'm aware that any criticism towards him is all the ammo the other side needs to get this incompetent cop off on this
You can't just shoot someone like that
Mistaking your gun for a taser is negligence and even then who knows if that's really what happened we are just going by her own explanation in the video
She's a 20 year vet I doubt she commonly makes mistakes like that
