Honestly the video makes it seem like a legit accident. She would be relieved of duty and charged with manslaughter at the least. But dude did himself no favors at all. You already outside the car nearly handcuffed with three cops and a couple squad cars around you. Why would you run? Where was he trying to go? Especially with your gf as a passenger . The DMV/BMV is backed up. Why even worry about small things like that at the moment. Pulled over for an air freshener? Seriously? And then the accountability on knowing your weapons as a police officer. When granted with privileges to arrest and carry a weapon you simply don’t make those mistakes. Nowhere is it standard protocol to shoot an unarmed suspect fleeing a scene.
