It's interesting that no one in here has yet to put any blame Jon Horst for the current issues with this team like trading 5 second round picks (that they could use now) for Crowder who has been a bust for them. It's also overlooking how poor at drafting they've been under his tenure, which has helped put them in the situation they're in now. It should be noted that he wasn't the one that drafted Brogdon.

If Bud benefitted from winning the championship that helped buy him more time, then Horst did as well.

It's why I won't put the teams current issues on Doc as even Nurse would be stuck dealing with an aging core and no youth to come help save them.

Bu-but this is a win now team, and they need someone to capitalize on that immediately because they don't have time for a new coach to make his bones over time

Solution? Hire a coach to come in & lose at a faster rate/pace as he "makes his bones" since this is an entirely new team for him whether he's coached before or not.
