Honestly it’s an extreme luxury and even an a spit the face of most people to build a multi million dollar house in such a fragile spot. It’s a reason most of them houses couldn’t get insured. If it wasn’t for the fires it would be the disappearing coastline.

Like if money really mattered to them people and housing really was sacred to them and important they wouldn’t have a house there
