clubbing got boring to me before i was even old enough to be legally allowed to enter the clubs.

i imagine clubbing now is similar to that club episode of ATLANTA and the chick tries to give paperboy her inatagram instead of phone number :beli:

Im glad i grew up when i did...in my early adulthood, philly was trying to bring house parties back (give me one of those instead of a club anyday)...or everyone who wanted to congregate found benches in the park or in someones alleyway to chill at...music and everything. this was when internet dating was still tabboo, so i had the best of both worlds...pulling socially awkward girls on AOL would give up the cooch for attention and pull whatever thots showed up at a house party
It's amazing in our era how everything was similar no matter where you lived. We did the same thing in Miami. Of course clubs were definitely the lick but the house party was the shyt.

Then every Sunday we hit the park and play music. I had 4 15's that shuck the whole block. Sipping Henny and Aleze :wow:. Women everywhere down to talk.

I always thought outside the box so getting broads off of yahoo chat was just the extra shyt I did to get mo p*ssy.:takedat:

These youngins will never know how that feels to have some good options to intreact with people. :francis:

I go places by myself because I got tired of prioritizing other people over myself.

Listen.

I see the movies I want, eat the food I want, go to the locations I want, do the things I want whenever the fukk I want and not have to deal with attitudes.

I don't smoke in public anymore like that. Drinking ain't fun anymore. fukk a club because you don't wanna be my friend as much as I don't want to fukk you. I'll sit at a bar and chill. And if I feel like being a hermit, I'll be a hermit.

Sorry millenials...your not the first generation to put in work.......just the laziest.

.
A good amount of millenials actually work pretty hard bruh. They just have less to show for their work than someone working equally as hard in the 90s/early 00s

Plenty working multiple jobs and going to school but making less than their predecessors

You on some baby boomer shyt with that statement

Many of my friends are younger (22-26) and a lot of them hate going out, got a struggle social circle, get frustrated with the art of the conversation and also are impatient with others.

It isn't just abuse of technology, it's the atrophy of face-to-face social skills. Sure there are many who have good mouthpieces but a lot of people these days struggle with just daily interactions. It's because social interactions are a skill and our society has evolved to a point that if you want you can have very limited interactions with others. And thus those interpersonal skills are taking an L. I wonder if depression rates are up, and if it can't be attributed to some of this too.

For example, this whole FA fad is inconceivable in previous generations. Cyber bullying? Sometimes when I talk to my parents about it they can't understand what the hell rhe issue is. And of course each generation comes with its critiques other generations, but for all the potential this generation has, it won't be realized if we devolve further down the rabbit hole. People outchea marrying robots and shyt lmao! And yeah that sounds unlikely and crazy but then again look at Japan.:yeshrug:
I'm not anti-technology. I'm anti-using technology as a substitute for genuine real human contact.

Like I said before, young/er people don't have a lot of energy (time) to go all out, time to make new (meaningful) friends..besides, not wanting to engage in small talk about trivial things like the weather isn't exclusive to any generation (not implying anything, just the whole formal attitude behind conversation's just dry

And a lot of young/er people have different ideas of going out :ld: Malls and clubs are dead, cacs are destroying hometown resturaunts, bars are crap, etc

Depression rates are up because it feels like we have no future, it feels like the people who raised us just gave us their baggage and we feel like we're in limbo, we get called children but are expected to have all of our shyt together.

Cyber bullying is a thing, for teenagers now, at least, when you can get harassed online and irl there's gonna be trouble, you can block someone online but you can't irl (just ignoring ppl doesn't help).

Oh please, we're gonna figure ourselves out and be fine, y'all just wanna rush us and act like y'all weren't a bunch of fools too..besides, Japan is an ethnically homogenous island nation of a couple million, can't compare them to us.

I'm 31 now. When was my 19-25, me and a group of homies from college use to club hard.

But girls in clubs are usually gross, I've met the baddest chicks dating wise either from a social event(office party, festival) or online. Club girls in NYC from my experience usually have kids, and are hoodrats. Dr

I have cum in to many club girls before. When I found I had HIV i had to reconsider how I should protect myself.
