Sad to say, as many have mentioned, social life (not just clubs) take disposable income which many millennials do not have to spare.
70-80 bucks to go out doesn't seem like much to professionals, but for someone with a part-time gig, a roommate, and 60K in loans, it is a lot.
Add to the fact that social media has made most women entitled Femic*nts, it is difficult for a brehs to approach without being considered creepy or violating her space (unless you are [insert Hollywood celeb])...
The larger issue is that real-life social interaction has been curtailed for young millennials in favor of emoticons....
I find when I get out it takes me days to recover
I'm still young but trapped in an old body, I don't sleep properly so it fukks me over lmao
I could go out Saturday and still be tired as fukk a week later

That's part of why you feel this way though breh. If you're single things would be a tad bit different. As much as people bag on getting older, it really is the GOAT thing. I have enough money and energy to do what I want, but I have the wisdom to know what's a waste and what's not. I am perfectly happy going for a walk in the park with my wife and our two dogs and then going to see a $20 movie and eating $8 ice cream.
Young people will spend hundreds of dollars on going out outfits and alcohol, weekend after weekend, for no real gain, while older people spend less and couldn't care less.
Young people are the new old people.

Everywhere you go, millennials are pushing the boundaries of convention and defying the rules: Almost getting people elected, riding "hoverboards" that are actually basically just Segways, writing self-congratulatory thinkpieces about ourselves. It's a busy world out there, and millennials are taking charge. For instance, this is the first generation ever to admit that going out actually sucks.
"They're the greatest generation—of couch potatoes," is how the New York Post, in one of the most amazing articles ever written, describes millennials. The case against us? We're streaming more television and spending more time on our phones than Gen X, declining to socialize in person, and maybe most damning of all, "More young people are choosing to spend a quiet evening at home." We're not even cool enough to get drunk: "A 2016 survey by Heineken found that when millennials do bother to venture outside, 75 percent drink in moderation."
The Post suggests a few reasons for millennials' lameness, including a quote from a neurologist who says that cases of exhaustion among young people are on the rise and a note that going out, especially in big cities like New York, is expensive. But even those of us who aren't perpetually broke and tired are still not embracing traditional methods of socializing, like sitting in a dark bar doing shots until something happens. This has something to do with social media, maybe? Oh, and dating! Whatever happened to dating, right?
Millennials Have Discovered 'Going Out' Sucks
I feel you but at the same time these youngins seem too disillusioned by the world they were handed.
I wouldn't even know where to start because the world they grew up in has so much less social interaction then the world I grew up in.
They don't hang out in malls like I did trying to holla at brehettes. Amazon killed that noise. They ain't hanging out at cd shops socializing with like minded people cuz itunes killed that. No more bullshytting with your boys at the movie theater or at blockbuster Because netflix shut that down. Getting a girls number use to be exciting and somewhat nerve wrecking but that experience has been watered down with social media on so many levels.
The things that made life thrilling to me as a shorty in the 90s just aren't there anymore for these kids. I feel like I'd have to change the world to give these kids something to get thrilled about.
The same old nikkas complaining are the same ones who ain't built shyt for us, shyt always be having meTry to make it seem as though wanting to relax after a 40 hour Monday through Friday work schedule is somehow abnormal brehs
Try to make it seem as though staying at home to save money rather than blowing it on clubbing is somehow strange brehs
