Sad to say, as many have mentioned, social life (not just clubs) take disposable income which many millennials do not have to spare.

70-80 bucks to go out doesn't seem like much to professionals, but for someone with a part-time gig, a roommate, and 60K in loans, it is a lot.

Add to the fact that social media has made most women entitled Femic*nts, it is difficult for a brehs to approach without being considered creepy or violating her space (unless you are [insert Hollywood celeb])...

The larger issue is that real-life social interaction has been curtailed for young millennials in favor of emoticons....

Females who were raised on media are the WOAT, due to the entitlement. Some want "unattractive" dudes to go to jail simply cause they approach them. :skip:

Really, the fact that the millennials are still ignored and treated as kids, shows how little respect society has for them.

They tinder for sexual interaction

Basically they have been reduced to a very limited social life due to ease of entertainment and excessive non personal communication

Glad I enjoyed my 20s the way I did, never even had a cell phone til I was 27

I find when I get out it takes me days to recover:flabbynsick:

I'm still young but trapped in an old body, I don't sleep properly so it fukks me over lmao

I could go out Saturday and still be tired as fukk a week later

That's really the issue with drinking. The day after kills any productivity. If your two days off are weekends, you just wasted one from recovering from Friday night.

I had no money in my early mid 20s anmanmd could go out on 20 to 30/bucks

Reality is these kids don't enjoy in person socialization that much

As much as people bag on getting older, it really is the GOAT thing. I have enough money and energy to do what I want, but I have the wisdom to know what's a waste and what's not. I am perfectly happy going for a walk in the park with my wife and our two dogs and then going to see a $20 movie and eating $8 ice cream.

Young people will spend hundreds of dollars on going out outfits and alcohol, weekend after weekend, for no real gain, while older people spend less and couldn't care less.
That's part of why you feel this way though breh. If you're single things would be a tad bit different.

Man I'm not going to lie this generation is depressing the jobs being scarce, wages not being up to par, Student debt I can see why millennials aren't going out much. Also social media making has definitely messed it up as well too. I remember in my college days I would be going out every weekend out to the clubs and shyt was fun me and my homies went out recently and shyt was wack. bytchez be trying to be on the come up with they phones and shyt acting like they somebody and doing it for the gram. It's going to be really interesting to see how this generation plays out when were at the forefront running shyt Since most millennials have social anxiety and don't have people skills. I'm convinced if you have mouthpiece you should be able to eat good since women ain't really getting approached like that in the real world since everyone is so introverted.

I've noticed there's alot of chicks in there early to mid twenties that are still virgins same with dudes which i'm not saying is a bad thing. Just goes to show how social anxiety is in full effect.

Young people are the new old people.

Everywhere you go, millennials are pushing the boundaries of convention and defying the rules: Almost getting people elected, riding "hoverboards" that are actually basically just Segways, writing self-congratulatory thinkpieces about ourselves. It's a busy world out there, and millennials are taking charge. For instance, this is the first generation ever to admit that going out actually sucks.

"They're the greatest generation—of couch potatoes," is how the New York Post, in one of the most amazing articles ever written, describes millennials. The case against us? We're streaming more television and spending more time on our phones than Gen X, declining to socialize in person, and maybe most damning of all, "More young people are choosing to spend a quiet evening at home." We're not even cool enough to get drunk: "A 2016 survey by Heineken found that when millennials do bother to venture outside, 75 percent drink in moderation."

The Post suggests a few reasons for millennials' lameness, including a quote from a neurologist who says that cases of exhaustion among young people are on the rise and a note that going out, especially in big cities like New York, is expensive. But even those of us who aren't perpetually broke and tired are still not embracing traditional methods of socializing, like sitting in a dark bar doing shots until something happens. This has something to do with social media, maybe? Oh, and dating! Whatever happened to dating, right?

Man hell yeah, goin out is damn near impossible when you got little kids

fukk that.

I like to smoke, play smash brothers
I feel you but at the same time these youngins seem too disillusioned by the world they were handed.

I wouldn't even know where to start because the world they grew up in has so much less social interaction then the world I grew up in.

They don't hang out in malls like I did trying to holla at brehettes. Amazon killed that noise. They ain't hanging out at cd shops socializing with like minded people cuz itunes killed that. No more bullshytting with your boys at the movie theater or at blockbuster Because netflix shut that down. Getting a girls number use to be exciting and somewhat nerve wrecking but that experience has been watered down with social media on so many levels.

The things that made life thrilling to me as a shorty in the 90s just aren't there anymore for these kids. I feel like I'd have to change the world to give these kids something to get thrilled about.

I'm scared that there's gonna be societal reset, where all that shyt is gonna vanish, I just pray it's not too bloody

When it's all over hopefully me and my family can just farm and be left the hell alone

:mjcry:

Yes, you can have fun without money....

the reality is its still difficult as fukk to do. Even if you like hooping, snowboarding, movies, whatever, that all takes disposable income. Even shyt like travel has become more of a pipe dream for this generation...

Breh, the average millennial net worth (assets - debt/liabilities) is something like -$20,000

And outside of D.C. the average income doesn't crack beyond $24k a year. You ain't doing shyt fun making $15/hr brehs.

Personally, never was the party, clubbing, going out, super social, drink every day every night type of guy anyway. Prefer to stay at home, go to sleep, play video games, sometimes read walk in the woods alone, travel alone and etc. I have homies and all, people socialize with me but I'm not a people person when Im not in that situation and tend to avoid it when i can. People take up my energy and I use a lot of my downtime to recover and get my mind right. I tend not to trust other people and hang around a few who have made me feel comfortable enough to open up to them where I can be me in peace without fearing backlash. There's a lot of bullshytters out here and I don't have the patience like i used to. I'm 30 years old so I can't just give the beats or snap on people like that when they piss me off or try to bullshyt with me.
