real shyt, life's been simplified to the highest extremes

May be, but that's the consequence of an entire generation not having enough resources to enjoy hanging out with strangers. A lot of potential lifetime relationships are never made because of that, and its sad that no one understands the long term setbacks because of that.

Lol! Millennials are masters of finding excuses for their social failures.
Going out is still fun. Having people over and cooking and chilling is fun too.

A lot of millenials aren't doing either one. B/c they are best friends with their technology, allergic to personal responsibility, and ignorant about social interactions.

I've never seen a crisis that could be so easily rectified by logging off.
(Speaking of which I need an accountability buddy. My procrastination is kicking in again. Lemme get my ass started on this damn paper!)

:what: Aight, ignorant bullshyt like this is why there's a huge ass generation gap

  • Going out equals time and money, young people don't have a lot of either
  • Again, having people over takes planning and preparing which equals time and money too
  • A lot of business, commerce, homework, learning and conversation can be done on phones
Get with the times already, technology isn't the problem, too many :flabbynsick: people refuse to get out the past

You're one of those, huh? :comeon:

If you don't want society to turn out like that, better lend a helping hand to the introverts instead of talking down to them.

I feel you but at the same time these youngins seem too disillusioned by the world they were handed.

I wouldn't even know where to start because the world they grew up in has so much less social interaction then the world I grew up in.

They don't hang out in malls like I did trying to holla at brehettes. Amazon killed that noise. They ain't hanging out at cd shops socializing with like minded people cuz itunes killed that. No more bullshytting with your boys at the movie theater or at blockbuster Because netflix shut that down. Getting a girls number use to be exciting and somewhat nerve wrecking but that experience has been watered down with social media on so many levels.

The things that made life thrilling to me as a shorty in the 90s just aren't there anymore for these kids. I feel like I'd have to change the world to give these kids something to get thrilled about.

all I know is man I went out last night since it was a real nice day in DC like 70 degrees. shyt was PACKED downtown. you couldn't find a parking spot for shyt down U street. lines everywhere. nikkas tryin to stunt on motorbikes. 45+ minute waits at all the restaurants.

Government money of the DMV ain't like other areas. Add that with the super bougie women, and a lot of 20 somethings ain't gonna bother.

Hate to say it, but to them, a lot more cons than pros come with interaction nowadays with a disillusioned social scene. We reached a point where if you ain't resembling the top 5% of society, its like you might as well stay home.

I still like going out but about 3-4 years ago I trimmed my social circle down quite a bit. One day u just wake up and realize u don't need or want 90% of these people around u anymore. It felt good cutting people off :ahh:

Too many times I'd compromise on where we goin what we doin who gonna be there. It's great when everyone is on the same page

That's so true. I'm just reading this after writing my long winded post. But you said what I said in one straight to the point sentence. And you said it better.

I just want these kids to venture out into this world and master themselves. I just want them to figure out what excites without the crutch of the internet giving them false gratification.

It's hard to get jobs so most of them are in student loan debt and are too broke to go out.

There has to be incentive for them to get back out there again. Lower prices, have less judgmental people in these social events and establishments, free parking, something that will stop a Wall-E type of future from occuring. Problem is, these places just cater to women and other people that don't appreciate shyt, and chasing profits will be the downfall of everything.
