I said in another thread recently that when young, able bodied men are out and about begging on the streets for spare change that is the signs of a diseased and dying nation. Employers look at you if you're asking for a handout when you apply for a position they posted. The hunger games like lengths you have to go through to even get an entry level job today are humbling and humiliating. The number of workplace shootings will rise, by both employees, candidates and "customers." There will also be more killings of apartment landlords in the years to come. People will literally have nothing left to lose but unfortunately such a series of mass violence events against these targets will be necessary for any reversal.
Yeah its alot of roadblocks out here where even getting a job is a privileged lol. I remember when I was 19 in 05 and first started working I would go on retail job interviews and they would not fukk with me lol. I finally had to plead with the manager when I caught him for a job a dollar general and had to clean the hell out of the floors just to get the job. Im glad I did that though always had a job after that not sure where I would be if I did not take that risk.

Also it's remarkable that a lot of these large corporations or the descendants of giant trusts were created by men with little or no formal education; functionally illiterate cac farm boys and slum children. Now, you have to have a bachelor's to inspect restaurants for health code violations at 25k per year. So many great minds lost to the abyss because of these arbitrary barriers.
Jeff Bezos has $150 billion and he’s not being torn apart right now.

The new men are cowards.

These were extremely complex machines. If today's standards were in place during those times you'd have needed a college degree to operate one of these. They wouldn't have let any of these uneducated, often drunk, cacs operate these nor work on them. But in those times you were taken off the street and trained by the company. Now they want you to have two degrees and 10 years experience in microprocessors (preferably no older than 25) just to send out spreadsheets among a team of six people in a section of a cubicle farm. It's all by design though.

People can still by gadgets and trinkets on credit. There are a lot of distractions. People don't realize how poor they are nor the dire situations they are in. Besides, guys like Bezos will be insulated from the on the ground violence. It'll be the middle management and office staff that shall witness and be the victim of these acts.

I cant relate.

However I do think that its not due to laziness.
I think the world has started to overvalue education in areas where its not needed so much
This post makes little sense.

How can you overvalue education?

Realistically most career fields require degrees and experience where none should be required, particularly for entry level positions. STEM, advanced degrees and education are a must and should be maintained. Entry level office positions; no.

Truth is even those barriers are going up. You practically need a masters degree for anything now, unless you have 10 years of experience :wtf:
