Before I say this, blame capitalism. But there are things to take into account for those that want to survive:

Most brehs I meet now outside of school are unwilling to get in school. If a dude has no record there is nothing stopping them from getting fafsa and attending a cc. It takes a while and effort but once you graduate in a stem field there will be an opportunity to have money. Most people don't do this because it's easier to whine on the internet, but even the lowest class person can do this. And people apply for scholarships like it is a game as well, people are able to make like $50k a year just off of strategic application.

This is pretty much what I did/am doing now. I know a breh that is already signed to make six figures when he graduates at a very reputable company. There are scholarships and opportunities for Black men (even Black fraternities have scholarships for incoming students). There are men in their fields willing to give a brother the advice they will need to succeed academically and professionally. But again brehs would rather whine about "they had girl scouts at the after school program so that is why I suck". Some of y'all need bigger tampons than I do.

A lot of these office jobs (entry level, lower management) prefer women; you can pay them slightly less (those savings add up over thousands of employees), they don't seem to stay as long (meaning they never reach max pay and you can replace them with a cheap alternative), they are "more educated" (filling degree requirements), and they count as a minority hire. HR Depts are filled with women hiring women at the directive of white men. A lot of these jobs are so low skilled even a teenager could do them yet they require a degree or a degree holding candidate will get preference; this pushes a lot of black men out of the running straight away. We're in fierce competition with women for non management office jobs and Mexicans for labor intense jobs. I have no idea what white men are doing to be in this predicament but black men.........man, just don't give up but you will feel like it. Also, more black men need to go to school to get bullshyt degrees as you'd be surprised how many jobs use the need for those basic degrees to bar you from consideration.

I said in another thread recently that when young, able bodied men are out and about begging on the streets for spare change that is the signs of a diseased and dying nation. Employers look at you if you're asking for a handout when you apply for a position they posted. The hunger games like lengths you have to go through to even get an entry level job today are humbling and humiliating. The number of workplace shootings will rise, by both employees, candidates and "customers." There will also be more killings of apartment landlords in the years to come. People will literally have nothing left to lose but unfortunately such a series of mass violence events against these targets will be necessary for any reversal.

I've been seeing it for years. I've seen degrees posted on section 8 walls. Even when you fall off, the padding is there.
Society, schools, and the current education system are built to promote women, so men already in place (and their sons) will have NO competition, and a weak, pliable workforce that can be controlled more because they have children. Less likely to unionize, and when they do, those unions are usually corporate sponsored and defeat the purpose.

Also it's remarkable that a lot of these large corporations or the descendants of giant trusts were created by men with little or no formal education; functionally illiterate cac farm boys and slum children. Now, you have to have a bachelor's to inspect restaurants for health code violations at 25k per year. So many great minds lost to the abyss because of these arbitrary barriers.
