Of course the ATL
When they bring up that Luck has a worse completion percentage & more INTs they bring up the fact that he has thrown a ton more passes so I guess that's supposed to give him a pass for not being as efficient as RG3 or Wilson. :rudy:

RG3 is the ROY imo b/c he's done more to change the culture of his team than any other rookie this season

All coaches(well great ones)design schemes and a system tailored to the strengths of their players. Luck isn't free styling out there In Indy, he's just been an innaccurate passer

I disagree, Colts had Manning for years and feel like Luck can replicate that, plus they have no (power) run game, dude has to throw.

You take Luck out of Indy, they'd be a 2 win team with Stanton.

If you take Russell out of Seattle, they'd still beast with their D and Beast Mode.

If you take RG3 out of DC, you'd still have the beast running game and they'd probably win more games with Cousins than the Colts would with Stanton.

The colts didnt have a specific offensive system in the peyton manning era? Peyton Manning (and Tom Moore)’s Indianapolis Colts Offense: How a Handful of Plays Led to a Decade of Success | Smart Football

Luck doesn't have a great running game like the other 2 i agree, but your acting like rg3 or Wilson don't have to throw as well. They're just turn the ball over way less

Does he have to turn it over though? I've never heard this much made over attempts and how much one guy has to do.

why? the whole season yall have done just the opposite with RGIII. it's not just a cac thing, media head still want to see the prototypical QB and value that type of play above all...if these read options stick, and mobile QB's prove to be more than one 2-3 season phenomenons, then he thought process might change, but if anything, Luck has personally been in the media less, he's not :smugfavre:'ing it out there
the problem is that that RG3 and Wilson could fall off and have horrible years next season, it has NOTHING to do with the OROY voting THIS season.

first, no lets play the "what if" game because we dont know how any of this plays out with any of these QBs.

Secondly, and more important, this is the award for the best performing rookie not the most valuable. Its always been that.

Go worry about Flacco not fukking up Sunday.

They bring up good points, similar to the ones I use when trying to explain to cats on here that Luck did have a very good rookie season when they try to act like he's been bad.

However, he wasn't rookie of the year. RGIII was. Luck and Wilson are on the same level (for different reasons), but RGIII is the clear winner IMO.

The sad side point is that Morris and Martin won't get their due as they're overshadowed by the QBs...but this is the way of the NFL and football in general:yeshrug:

Colts are by far the most overrated team this season....and I love Luck as a player...but he's not the rookie of the year.

Yeah man.

I saw the Jets knock him around and force him into so many mistakes and bad throws.

He's talented though

you missed my point, they are plugging Luck into a Manning system more than you have RGIII being plugged into one established system...

and 627 attempts vs 393 for RGIII and Wilson...you telling me they're not making him throw on some Manning shyt? Especially when Luck is also mobile and has been caught trucking safeties. RGIII has been excellent, but knowing how the media thinks and being unbiased (altho I am biased), there is definitely a case for Luck

If this were 10 years ago, Morris and Martin would be more in the convo, but why are we acting surprised that only QB's are being seriously considered, especially this year

It's a fallacy to think that there isn't any talent at the skillset position in Indy..

Luck is only completing 50% of his passes so obviously, someone else is making plays down in Indy

We'll take care of Luck this weekend and seal the deal for RG3's ROY:shaq:
