Come football season, Bart is gonna sound like an encyclopedia should they make it that far and that’s the first thing CMB wants to address but he’s going into NYC being clueless about the main sport everyone wants to talk about. God forbid there’s days where one or both Carlin and Maggie are out for whatever reason, vacation or something, Bart can’t do the show alone. Maggie can. Carlin can though I don’t wanna hear it. Bart is gonna need his hand held the entire time until fall.
Yep and “Baseball first” is what made them so successful. NYC is a baseball town first and foremost I don’t know why Chernoffs trying to reinvent the wheel.

Nobody wants to hear about gameplanning about one football game the whole week most even hardcore fans really have no idea what’s going on x’s and o’s wise during games if were being honest.and even the parts easy to figure out. How many times during a week can you talk about shutting down a teams best Wr or something? It gets tedious
In baseball most fans can play along as a manager in their heads which makes it easier to talk about and digest in radio
