The station isn’t expected to backfill Mike successfully right away because those shoes are wildly large to fill. So I feel like now is the perfect time for for them to “experiment” and check the box - female, black dude - to avoid any shyt-talking/remove the stigma from the public and media.

In all fairness, Peter Rosenberg said the same thing on the Micheal Kay radio show before. Kay himself and Don La Greca like baseball, but Rosenberg thinks its boring. Kay's show didn't get the ratings that Franeesa got but it has its own little fanbase, so will see

it's a soft open. The show really starts January 2nd or 3rd. Right now it's Carlin solo with Maggie or Bart coming in whenever with Joe and Evan doing some days during the holidays. Mike even said at this time of the year he's off anyway so you're not really gonna notice the change til top of the year.
max & kenny was only a show for a quick minute
then they both got there own shows - although producers/administrators, max had robin & ryan chime in all the time
i remember mike mussolini ( particularly talking about the Sopranos all the damn time) but i don’t remember him & SAS together
SAS & BT was the marquee show at ESPN at that time

the craziest shyt was i believe mike very last Friday ... that next Monday was after the tremendous controversy with the fumble - no touchdown in the Pittsburgh / New England game
