I never listened to Mike aside from the bloopers where he falls asleep or makes a fool out of himself.

I never though he was that entertaining.

But whats crazy is i just started to listen to clips of his show on youtube recently and became a fan.

We just heard the last of traditional sports talk radio unfortunately, every show sounds the same these days. Pair up a host with an ex football player and have call in guests for the majority of the time with stupid sound effects and guys in their 50s trying to sound cool.

I'm really interested to see how this new group does, especially in baseball season, which in NY, is just about year round. Even in December, you've got the Winter Meetings and potential deals/trades for both teams. Then in January/Feb you start looking towards spring training. You've got to be particularly well versed in baseball to make it as a sports talk host in NY, IMO
