i dont think cotto really knows how to fight a southpaw. when he fought pacquiao he kept trying to step in hard with the jab and pacquiao would repeatedly throw his straight left down the middle. thats the same counter that marquez used to knock out pacquiao. cotto didnt seem to know well enough to come in out of the rain to not keep repeatedly getting hit by the same counter straight left over and over and over. i think martinez stops cotto badly. i cant see cotto not getting hit with straight lefts all night.

that's Boxing though. Like I said in a previous post 1 fight can change the landscape and the perception of a fight. Canelo right now is the one who needs some what of a resurgence after being embarrassed by Floyd while Cotto had 2 tough fights with both Floyd and Trout that he lost. To me it's probably a bit more intriguing now because Canelo's vulnerabilities were out on display.
