The NG+ mode is trash to me. None of the cards or cosmetics carry over, you just get all the characters from the start which is immersion breaking since you can take hulk with you on a mission to rescue bruce banner and shyt. Only advantage is the relationship levels carry over so you start out with all the passives.
Would rather they did the exact opposite and give us all the cards from the beginning, but we still have to unlock characters as the story progesses.

Aw that's some BS, what's the point of all the cosmetic upgrades and palette unlocks if they don't carry over? That's a misstep on their end

i heard the dlc characters will be same essentially. No new storylines to introduce them or anything, just gonna randomly be hanging out in the abbey to be selected for missions from the start.

They probably couldn’t find a way (or had time/resources) to figure out how to balance that. Id imagine your decks would be hella OP for the first half of the game

I saw an article saying that the DLC characters will get more screen time than some of the main heros because they’re all getting their own sets of missions with specific storylines. They will be placed in the middle of the main story tho

EDIT: it’s from this one here

“They actually have more content in a lot of ways than some of the base game heroes in the sense that they all have three narrative missions solely devoted to them and their [own] part in a whole new storyline,” Solomon says. “Those missions are available very early in the game.

“Those characters have all the same content as the base game heroes, relationship wise, tactical wise, but they have even more narrative missions than most of the other heroes.”

Hope the story DLC is is a full on expansion featuring you know who.

Why does that matter to them? You played the game already. Games should be played how the player wants. If people want to be OP, why not?

meh, new game + is fine. You’re given enough carryover to feel like you’re still stream rolling through it.

Just having certain characters unlocked early makes it significantly easier

This game was definitely the sleeper hit of last year. It's pretty amazing. Also, the persona friends shyt wasn't as bad as Schill Up made it be. It's not great, but it's not terrible. Funny at times even. I will say that while it's hardly better than Persona's system overall, they do one thing better with how you level up your friends in that it's not nearly as limited and very transparent on where you stand with them.

Who are ya'll fav. team members so far. I've still not got Wolverine yet, but have long since past the point when you first get to play as him. I've fought Venom for what feels like the 18th time, lol! Nico and Magik are my gotos and I really like Captain Marvel/America and Blade. I rarely use Ironman, lol. He's shunted in and off the field of battle. So was Dr. Strange, but I've started using him more now. Ghost Rider is just ok to me, but kinda annoying. Spiderman is so fukking clutch too. The Hunter character gets some super good abilities and seems to get the most as well, but I only use her (created a girl; gonna link her up in a bit) on story missions.

Also, another underrated feature of the game that I hadn't even heard mentioned previously is the comic book cover editing. Check out one of mine below, where Blade unexpectedly gets the Captain Marvel attention that he wanted and deserves.
